Following the high satisfaction ranking of the 2025 Tour to Antwerp, we are now planning our holiday for 2026. Two locations have been suggested: Munich and Lille. The latter is discounted for 2026 as, due to its popularity, we are late for securing accommodation at reasonable prices, but we want to consider it for 2027. To gauge likely interest in a trip to Munich, we would welcome your completing the following brief questionnaire. We also include similar questionnaires for a potential visit next year to the new V&A East store and a two-day visit to the V&A East store plus Dulwich Art Gallery.
Munich is full of excellent art galleries, museums and historical buildings. We can explore a possible day in the Bavarian Mountains to see the museum of Blue Rider artist, Franz Marc. Given that we cannot provide an idea of costs at this stage, nor exact dates, how likely would you be interested in the following tour? Spring 2026//6 days (4 days in place)//Return flight Birmingham-Munich//Coach transfers//Good standard of hotel accommodation
The V&A has opened it East Storehouse in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London. This access all areas experience of the V&A Collection has been acclaimed by the arts media. We would like to run a coach trip, given that it is not easy to access by public transport from here. However, coaches have become expensive, and it would involve a long day of 7+ hours on the coach for 3-4 hours in the V&A including time for refreshments, loos etc. Given that we don’t have a date, nor a cost but around £55, how likely would you be interested in joining this day tour?
If we were to make this a two-day trip with overnight stay and visit to Dulwich art gallery on day 2, would you be interested?
