In lieu of guided visit during the AFW holiday to the South-east coast, which will be used to help finance the William Nicholson exhibition

 

2021

Royal Collection Trust – £200

Rachel Peat, Assistant Curator of the Royal Collection Trust spoke to us on Japanese Art in the RCT. The donation went towards in-person learning events for a range of audiences during the Exhibition of Japanese art in the Royal Collection 2022.

Herbert Art Gallery, Coventry – £200

A donation on behalf of Fuchsia Hart, who spoke on “Art in Persia”

Princethorpe College, Warwickshire £200

Art Friends Warwickshire sponsored the Bauhaus Trophy, awarded for aesthetic design.

Art Friends Warwickshire who have used Princethorpe College as a lecture venue, presented the gift of a trophy to the school. It is to be awarded annually. To see more detail click HERE

Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge – £800

A donation on behalf of Dr Vicky Avery, who spoke on the exhibition at The Fitzwilliam on “Food in Art”. The grant was used to support students attending a linked conference.
