An Introduction to Street Art and Graffiti”

A talk with plenty of illustrations by Tim Robottom

10.00am Wednesday, 23 October 2024

Venue: Hill Close Gardens, Bread and Meat Close, Warwick CV34 6HF

Art Friends Warwickshire recently sponsored a striking new mural in Shrubland Street,
Leamington. This was a new venture for us but in fact this sort of art is increasingly visible
in our towns and cities. Perhaps more people see it and relate to it than to more traditional art
forms.

Banksy is the most familiar name but he is far from alone. What lies behind it all? Where is it going? Who best to tackle these questions than Tim Robottom, who curated the mural in Leamington and who is a professional in this field. Come and stretch your mind. From 10.00am for Coffee/tea and biscuits

There is ample parking just outside the venue

Price: £12.00 per person
